Pinnacle Lakeside Residences reimagines a 3.8-acre site at Lake Shore Boulevard East and Lower Sherbourne Street as a sculptural gateway to Toronto’s East Bayfront.
Currently under construction, Phase 1 will introduce a sculptural ensemble of three mixed-use towers, comprising 1,261 residential suites in one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Rising to 15, 44, and 54 storeys, the taller pair of towers will feature silhouettes suggesting motion and lift, evoking the geometry of sails in tandem—an architectural gesture that reflects the site’s nautical heritage and urban context. The mid-rise tower will anchor the northern edge, reinforcing the pedestrian scale and contributing to a cohesive massing strategy. At grade, the podiums will establish a vibrant street presence with retail frontage along Lower Sherbourne, while expansive indoor and outdoor amenity spaces will support a rich and connected community life. The proposal for Phase 2 will add significant residential density to the development.
A curving pedestrian pathway will weave the entire site into its surroundings, linking east to Sherbourne Common Park and west to the Daniels Waterfront – City of the Arts. Located moments from the Gardiner Expressway, Union Station, and future Waterfront East LRT, Lakeside Residences will offer seamless access to nature, mobility, and the evolving urban fabric—establishing a new centre of gravity for waterfront life in Toronto.
