Playing an integral role in the long-term transformative vision for the City of Vaughan, HPA is currently leading the master plan for the RioCan Colossus Centre. Located at Highway 7 and Weston Road, this 25-acre project is anticipated to become a landmark neighbourhood for the City, weaving in a framework grid of streets, transit infrastructure, and ample public space to unite the entire mixed-use community.
Within the site’s three precincts—north, southwest, and southeast—there will be a variety of both residential and commercial towers integrated throughout, ranging from 8 to 55 storeys in height. The towers will accommodate approximately 13,000 residential units and aim to establish the foundation for thousands of new employment opportunities for residents of the area.
At the heart of the community will be Colossus Park, full of inviting public spaces and community activity to serve the planned neighbourhood.
