The Sherway Gardens master plan envisions a future-minded development that accommodates growth and transforms an underutilized part of the city into a vibrant mixed-use community, steps away from the CF Sherway Gardens Mall. This addition will introduce a mix of residential, office, and retail space to the site through four new towers ranging from 30 to 45 storeys in height, along with several community amenities.
The streetscapes will be activated by a verdant 3,061 sq.m park and a network of open public spaces. The design integrates future transit potential in the area and acknowledges its current proximity to the highway. The master plan also includes a multi-use trail along the surrounding Queensway, landscaped pedestrian pathways, and versatile streets that better connect users to the shopping mall and other nearby amenities.
The Sherway Gardens neighbourhood presents an opportunity to create a strong sense of place. The plan aims to redefine the area by urbanizing it into a cohesive live-work-play community that connects diverse users to all their day-to-day needs.
