Germán Vaisman

As Director of Architectural Sustainability, Germán collaborates with clients and design teams to develop, guide, and ensure the strategic implementation of sustainable practices. Leveraging his experience in sustainable architecture and building science, Germán plays an integral role in monitoring and evaluating the firm’s environmental design impact. He is specialized in embodied carbon analysis, low energy buildings, and is a Certified Passive House Designer, employing his in-depth industry knowledge to lead HPA’s sustainability strategy. He engages with the design studio to help guide projects of various scale and complexity toward their sustainability goals.

Inspired by ecology, nature, and sustainability, Germán employs his passion-led knowledge into his work to envision beautiful buildings that align with a low carbon economy.
