Dorsay Community & Heritage Centre Achieves CAGBC ZCB-Design Certification

The Dorsay Community & Heritage Centre at the Pickering Museum Village has achieved Zero Carbon Building – Design Standard™ (ZCB-Design) certification under the Canada Green Building Council’s (CAGBC) Zero Carbon Building program, marking a major sustainability milestone for the City of Pickering.
The 44,000 square foot municipal facility, set to open this spring, will be a modern and flexible space that unites museum, library, gallery, and archive under one roof. The project integrates a high-performance building envelope, full electrification, and resilience strategies to meet the demands of a net zero future.
As the first net zero facility in Pickering, the Dorsay Community & Heritage Centre demonstrates leadership in sustainable design and community investment.
