Toronto Star: SkyTower – View From 100 Floors Up

The Toronto Star features SkyTower at Pinnacle One Yonge as it celebrates a historic 100-floor milestone—making it Canada’s tallest skyscraper even before completion.
On Friday, Pinnacle International marked the occasion with family and friends, project collaborators, and members of the press as construction crews poured concrete for the 100th floor. The tower, designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, will reach a final height of 106 storeys.
“At the 100th floor, you’re near eye level with the CN tower’s observation deck. Cars on the Gardiner are minuscule; even 25-storey structures look tiny,” writes Manuela Vega.
Part of Pinnacle's ambitious One Yonge Master Plan, the mixed-use development on Toronto’s waterfront will add significant residential, hotel, retail, and public space to the site. SkyTower itself will feature 958 residential units, a 223-suite Le Meridien Hotel, and a restaurant on the 106th floor. Anson Kwok, Pinnacle’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, expects occupancy to begin next spring or summer.
Set for completion in 2026, SkyTower is redefining Toronto’s skyline while setting a new benchmark for urban living in Canada.
