The Globe and Mail lists SkyTower as one of four Toronto buildings to watch in 2026.

In this article, writer Dave LeBlanc reflects on the Toronto's evolving skyline, situating current developments within the context of earlier building booms. Among the projects he highlights is SkyTower, the city’s latest supertall designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects.

SkyTower is the second phase of the Pinnacle One Yonge master-planned development, rising 106 storeys and 352 metres upon completion. It will be the tallest building in Canada and a prominent new landmark on Toronto’s waterfront.

LeBlanc notes that, despite its height and visibility, SkyTower does not overwhelm its surroundings. He characterizes the building as strong and restrained, suggesting that its quieter architectural presence is appropriate given its proximity to the other towers in the development.
